📖 Movie Synopsis
Two years after surviving a violent attack on her family, Becky is trying to rebuild her life and leave her traumatic past behind. She finds a sense of comfort and companionship with Elena, an older woman who becomes a kindred spirit.
But Becky's attempt at a quieter life is shattered when a violent group known as the Noble Men invades their home. The attackers assault Elena and take Becky's beloved dog, Diego, leaving Becky with no choice but to confront the ruthless group.
Forced back into survival mode, Becky once again turns her anger, determination and resourcefulness against those who have threatened the people and things she loves. What follows is a brutal and darkly comic fight for revenge.
The Wrath of Becky continues the story of the teenage survivor from Becky, mixing action, horror, thriller elements and dark comedy into a fast-paced revenge story. 2
⭐ IVIEWX Movie Review
The Wrath of Becky brings back Lulu Wilson as Becky for another violent and revenge-driven adventure. This time, the character is older and faces another dangerous threat after attempting to build a more peaceful life.
One of the film's strongest elements is its blend of action and dark comedy. The story doesn't stay entirely within traditional thriller territory, instead embracing an exaggerated revenge-film style with intense confrontations and moments of grim humor.
Lulu Wilson once again carries the movie as Becky, while Seann William Scott plays Darryl Jr., one of the central members of the group threatening Becky and Elena. The supporting cast includes Denise Burse, Jill Larson, Michael Sirow and Courtney Gains. 3
With its compact runtime, aggressive action and horror-thriller atmosphere, The Wrath of Becky is designed as a fast-moving revenge sequel rather than a slow-burn drama. Rotten Tomatoes currently lists an 89% Tomatometer score and a 77% Popcornmeter score, while IMDb lists the film at 6.2/10. 4
