🎬 Movie Review
Don't Be Shy is a Hindi coming-of-age romantic comedy that places its focus on the emotional confusion of young adulthood. Rather than presenting romance as a simple love story, the film follows Shy as her carefully planned future begins to unravel.
The story combines first love, heartbreak, friendship, jealousy and self-discovery. Shy's relationship with Tara is particularly important because what begins as competition gradually develops into an unexpected connection.
The film is led by a young ensemble, including Aarushi Bajaj as Shy, Ansh Duggal as Dhruv, Bianca Arora as Tara and Piyush Khati as Mayank. Supporting cast members include Kunaal Roy Kapur, Neha Dhupia, Anurag Basu and Anju Alva Naik.
With its colourful young-adult atmosphere, romantic complications and comedic moments, Don't Be Shy is built around the idea that growing up rarely happens according to plan.
